Iphone 5 For Tmobile Unlocked

The iPhone 5 may not be ready for sale unlocked officially just yet, but that doesn't mean T-Mobile isn't ready to be your service provider. As evidenced by the photo above, the folks at TmoNews and YouTuber BigRicksChannel have confirmed that the carrier is now selling iPhone 5-compatible Nano-SIMs. Of course, these'll work just fine with the Verizon-variant of the 4-inch device, as it's technically unlocked out of the box. Need proof beyond a photo? Catch the video after the break to see it connecting to T-Mobile's network for yourself.

Will a sprint prepaid phone, or any prepaid phone work on Us Mobile? if I bought a semi-new(condition new, but manufactured two years ago) on Amazon and inserted your SIM card would it work? Can a locked phone be unlocked by Us Mobile? How do I tell if a phone is locked?

Hey,thanks for getting in touch, Lansing and the surrounding areas of Ithica should have decent coverage, however to get a better idea, if possible send us the complete address at [email protected] and we can look further into this. Also, if your ATT LG G3 is GSM unlocked from ATT, it should work fine. Let us know if we can help further =)

On Thursday evening, Apple quietly updated its online store to offer an unlocked GSM version of its latest iPhone, untethered from any carrier and contract. But the device comes at a significant additional cost.

According to T-Mobile blog TmoNews, the iPhone 5-ready nano-SIM cards started showing up at the carrier's stores on Saturday, allowing unlocked versions of the handset to be activated on T-Mobile's HPSA+ network. The appearance of the nano-SIM cards comes as a bit of a surprise, as the first batch of chips were expected to arrive later this month.

While Apple does not sell any iteration of the iPhone to T-Mobile, the newest version of the smartphone supports the telecom's 4G HSPA+ and LTE bandwidths, which are being built out across the country. This means any unlocked AT&T or Verizon iPhone 5 will recognize and operate on T-Mobile's network, including unlocked units sold directly from Apple.

Shortly after launching the handset in September, Apple revealed U.S. pricing for out-of-contract, or factory unlocked, iPhone 5s would be $649, $749 and $849 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions, respectively. Non-contract units purchased from AT&T and Verizon would carry comparable prices.

Is it that the iPhone 5 comes unlocked when you sign up on a contract unlike the iPhone 4 and 4s? I know it is unlocked when you buy it for the full purchase price. I thought there was an article here that mentioned it would be unlocked automatically when you sign up on a contract.

The Verizon iPhone 5 is GSM unlocked whether you buy it on-contract or off-contract. The AT&T iPhone 5 is GSM locked to AT&T network. I've read here that you can buy it from Apple Stores at full price if you don't want to sign new contract with AT&T but I called Apple yesterday and they have told me you need to sign a new contract when you buy it from them! I know some people who bought AT&T iPhone 5 off-contract but Apple reps said that's not possible.

I know you can buy it from Verizon (online or at the Verizon stores) unlocked and without contract for full price. The catch is that you will need to activate it, which I believe means $36 activation fee + at least one month of service with them.

The phone I am using is the unlocked version for T-Mobile, the model is A1533. I believe this phone could work well on AT&T as well as other GSM networks worldwide. If you are confused among some models, make sure to read my article on the differences between iPhone 5S A1533, A1453, A1457 and A1530. It will be helpful if you buy on the Internet or from other countries.

So will you somehow give a comment about ios animation speed, that you called a fault? Will you prove your words as a reviewer adding a video with iphone that do not act like this? =) or may be you will admit that you were wrong?

Below, we have given you a quick chart that shows each of the four major US carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint), along with 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G bands and frequencies. By no means is this the most in-depth wireless carrier band and frequency chart, but it should help when you go to buy that next unlocked phone from Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Apple, or Motorola.

I was recently in Iceland for 9 days. I paid T-Mobile a total of $35 for high speed data (1 week for $25 plus 2 extra days for $5 each.) Had I brought an unlocked phone that can handle eSIMS, I could have paid just $13 for 5 GB of data, good for 30 days. For a shorter trip, you could pay as little as $4.50.

World Phones should also work, as long as they say they will work in Iceland. I think both of these options will end up being more expensive for a 3 week trip, though? For a three week trip, your best bet is probably to buy an unlocked phone (or unlock one of your old phones) and buy a SIM card. Though I guess if you just need voice and text, your other options (a world phone rental or a local Icelandic phone rental) would also be fine.

Well I have pulled the trigger so to speak and shopped heavily to buy an unlocked phone for my trip. I am trying a sim card through MintSim here to see if it will work out for my regular phone once I return. I think my biggest issue is that I am use to really good service with Verizon and the carrier that works with my sim card is through T-mobile which is nowhere near as good. Of course I am also use to a basic phone and the one I purchased has all the bells and whistles. Anyway will try and let you know when I return from my trip how things turned out.

Thanks Eric. Great article extremely well written and helpfull. I never used a SiM Card in the past but my phone is unlocked so there should be no problem using one. Does the SiM Card comes with a new phone number or does it essentially allow you to keep your phone number. Nobody will phone us while travelling in Iceland as my phone number is not public. Only my husband know my phone number and he will be with me ? However, I left my cell phone number with the various hotels where we will stay in case they need to contact us. Are they going to be able to reach using the cell phone number I provided them at the time of reservation? Thanks and again, great posting.ChantalVictoria, BC

I tried to use the Airalo eSim. But my phone is still locked with TMobile, and so I was unable to install it. If you have an unlocked phone, or if your carrier allows it with a locked phone, I think Airalo is a great option.

Great article. So we do have Sprint and my phone is unlocked. My husbands phone is probably not unlocked. Should we go for the high speed data at $25/week or should I do the eSim option? Can I make calls if I go that option? or Maybe use my husbands phone without esim or $25 a week for calls at 2G? Laptop wont get internet access regardless of anything I do and can only be used in a wifi situation so perhaps maybe do option 3 which will cover both phones and laptop? This would come out to $112 for our trip vs $50 with high speed through sprint or $13 for esim. Confused yet?

After purchasing a new iPhone 8+ from Cricket wireless and fulfilling their unlocking requirements, I unlocked the IPhone (from my account) I ported out to Sprint/TMobile to take advantage of their free line offer on the family plan.

The iPhone 5c, 5s, and newer iPhones from other US carriers and Apple stores are compatible with the T-Mobile 2G/3G/4G/LTE networks. Some features may not work on T-Mobile's network when using unofficially unlocked iPhones. ... Sprint iPhones may be difficult to unlock and may not work on T-Mobile's network avast driver jiofi.local.html

Getting your hands on an unlocked device is pretty easy and will probably get a lot easier over the next weeks as the new iPhone is announced. Apple has offered the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S unlocked almost since it released last year and you can currently snap up a new one at eBay for about $580.

There are a lot of reasons to unlock an iPhone. Maybe a friend or family member has upgraded to a new iPhone 12 and passed you their old iPhone. Maybe you have bought one second-hand or maybe you just want to change phone networks. It is possible to switch to a cheaper SIM-only tariff, which can save you a lot of money (around 200 per year) compared to a standard iPhone contract, but to get the most benefit you will have to have an unlocked iPhone.

After you have owned your iPhone for a certain period (sometimes as little as 30 days), you can ask your network to unlock it. All UK mobile networks will normally unlock it, although some charge an unlocking fee. If you want your iPhone unlocked without having to go to the mobile provider, then visit Mobile Unlocks, who can unlock iPhones from any network.

If your cell phone is unlocked it can be used with more than one wireless carrier like T Mobile and Cingular. The carrier locking is called by several names including "Sub Lock" or "SPC Lock" or "Sim Lock". This is/was done so that the free phone you received from your carrier with a i.e. 2year commitment could not be used on another carriers service. 2ff7e9595c
